One if by land...

Ani was in a wedding and it was lovely and beautiful and all those wonderful things that weddings are... but the best part was that the wedding was in Boston! We made a mini-vacation out of it. Although we had a cold and soggy arrival- good food and warm friends made it all worth it.

We flew in Thursday morning and took the "T" to our hotel. Ani was smitten with a new, noisy train system and the people of Boston were gracious enough to give up their seat for her. Reba picked us up that evening for a harrowing ride to the North End and back. All survived but Ani was forever changed- she is smitten with her "Reeby".

Friday found us at the Paramount for breakfast. Once we adjusted to their odd "order/pay and then sit" policy, it was delightful and Ani cozied up to a giant plate of sausages!

On our walk from the "T" to the Gardner Museum, Ani fell asleep which meant we were able to take in the entire museum uninterrupted.

We got up bright and early Saturday morning and discovered Metropolis for another lovely breakfast. Then we went off in search of ducklings, piles of leaves and oysters before napping and cleaning up for Cara and John's wedding.

Ani was a delightful flower girl and only had a momentary freak-out when looking for me near the altar.

Crisis averted, she and I hopped in a cab back to our hotel, changed and walked down Newbury Street in search of chocolate mice and sustenance. Score! The "Too Cute", chocolate mice, bouncy hotel bed head wound has also healed nicely. Bonus!

Reba and Mike lovingly picked us up Sunday for an early breakfast at Mul's Diner before depositing us at Logan full of pancakes, hugs and kisses.

One if by land. Two if by sea. Three if by Reba.
